Bio-medical breakthroughs in the fields of genetic and tissue engineering hold great promise. However, as modern medicine advances, it often poses major ethical issues on which people are seriously divided. The argument in favor of proceeding with research at unrestrained pace is mainly advocated by scientists and medical experts who would like to see some fantastic therapeutic benefits that science promises in the form of stem cell technologies. Scientists are absolutely thrilled by the possibilities looming on the horizon (Thompson, Harrub 2001c). On the other side of the debate are people, sometimes led by religious groups, who are concerned we may going too far too fast, using unacceptable means and in unknown directions. Stem cell research has the greatest potential for saving lives, but is controversial for its research based on embryos and fetuses (Rickard 2002). Stem cells are immature and unspecialized cells that that possess both the capacity to renew themselves indefinitely as well as the capability to differentiate themselves into specialized and mature cells. Mature cells, such as the heart’s myocytes or the liver’s hepatocytes, stop dividing after several dozen divisions, while stem cells can keep on dividing indefinitely, either renewing themselves or bringing out specialized cells. There are four types of stem cells in the human body 1) adult stem cells, 2) fetal stem cells 3) embryonic stem cells, and 4) nuclear transplant stem cells. The embryo’s stem cells are the precursors of the development of a complete human baby. They produce all of the body’s various 100 trillion cells. Because the fetus is growing rapidly, all tissues and organs, including the brain, contain stem cells. It is for this reason that stem cell researchers are interested in studying fetal tissues. Studies suggest that human embryonic stem cells have immense potential in terms of developing into multiple tissue types and long-term self-renewal. Therefore, stem cell research entails the intentional creation of human embryos in the highly artificial context of an IVF clinic, using cloning techniques, and discarding them after their use for research is exhausted (Thompson, Harrub 2001a). The question to be resolved is whether research on embryonic stem cells constitutes a violation of fundamental human rights, in particular the principle of respect for human dignity and the right of life. However, many believe that conception/fertilization is not a moment but a process, and the early development does not indicate true individuality in any sense of the word, and therefore there is violation of human rights. The promise of embryo research, liberal-minded people tend to think, is too real to ignore any longer by sticking to conservative attitudes that stand in the face of pragmatism. And yet, even they would flinch at the possibilities of reproductive cloning. The difference between therapeutic cloning using embryonic stem cells (stem cell research) and reproductive cloning is the distinction between creating cloned body tissue or organs for therapeutic purposes and creating cloned human beings. Reproductive cloning is generally viewed as morally abhorrent because it is seen as unnatural and a â€Å"commodification† of human life, and it captures public fears about the power of science to pursue a eugenic agenda. When governmental organizations of today debate ban on human cloning, the main issue in such debates would be whether to ban outright all forms of embryo cloning, which a number of countries seem to support, or to permit the cloning of embryos for research purposes (therapeutic cloning/ stem cell research) while outlawing human reproductive cloning. Besides reproductive cloning, there is another untoward ramification to therapeutic cloning, which is cloning for enhancement. The issue of using advances in stem cell research for the purposes of enhancement, as against solely therapeutic purposes, opens up a Pandora’s box of all kinds of complications, ethical, social, psychological, philosophical and practical. For instance, stem cell approaches might help to cure Parkinson’s patients, but, in the not too distant future, they could also be used to improve brain functions. Rich people would be able to afford this therapy and poor people would not. This could create a most undesirable stratification of the society. But where does therapeutic cloning end, and enhancement cloning begin — even if cloning was advanced for purely therapeutic purposes, it would soon spread into the domain of enhancement. This is the argument of â€Å"slippery slope† commonly advanced against all biomedical research involving genetic and cellular manipulation. Last but not least, thanks to the promise that genetic engineering and human cloning research hold, the prospects of achieving capabilities for indefinite life extension even within the next twenty to thirty years are very high (Thompson, Harrub 2001b). The consequences of physical immortality for whole populations are simply inconceivable. But today, the possibility of human race becoming permanently deathless looms uncomfortably close to us. Therefore it becomes imperative that something be done to stem the advances of genetic and cloning research before the situation goes out of hand. A number of states have already enacted specific cloning-ban legislation, either banning the cloning of humans or imposing a moratorium on cloning within the state. Other states have taken action at least to consider formally similar legislation. At federal level, the Human Cloning Prohibition Act of 2003, which bans the process of human cloning for any purpose and the importation of any product derived from an embryo created via cloning, was passed by the U. S. House of Representatives on 27 February 2003. It was not ratified by the senate though. The Human Cloning Prohibition Act of 2005 bans only reproductive cloning while allowing therapeutic cloning. To date, federal regulations only prohibit federal funding for research into human cloning (Cash 2005). Though the science of bio-medical engineering is making rapid strides, and offers the promise of unveiling radical new therapies, simply the fact that a technology exists does not imply that anyone who can pay for it can be automatically allowed to use it. This is because the emerging genetic and cellular techniques and technologies raise all kinds of issues, ethical, philosophical, social, psychological and so on. They carry with them implications very difficult even to comprehend.

Furthermore, heteronormativity is present in the song because the man, who can be inferred as the boyfriend of the singer, is not loyal to the latter, and instead, acts like a stereotyped womaniser. Bowie notes that though the woman is a â€Å"bitch,† the man is a male version of a bitch: â€Å"And he's trying hard/to pull sister Flo† (4-5). The man is not exactly resisting the charms of the woman, whom Bowie calls sister Flo, probably because she goes with the flow, the flow of men with money or looks or both. Bowie shows that society produces slutty women and men within the context of heteronormativity, where male desires shape social norms. In the United Kingdom, the term work life balance was first introduced during the late 1970s as a way of describing someones balance of lifestyles between work and home or social life. The perception of work life balance has recently become more popular on a global scale due to several of causes. Even though at times, family and work are sometimes viewed as separate domains, whereby an employees role alternates between a family;[1] and an employee, the significance of knowing how the impact of work carries over outside of employee time to ones social life outside of work is important. Tanvi and Fatima, (2012) suggest that the idea of trying to maintain a balance between work and social time is a result of this idea which is gaining global prominence especially in the current economic climatic conditions where staff turnover is low in most work places. It is in this context that employees are trying to find a balance in service delivery that yields good results whilst avoiding burnout which then leads to either ill health or neglect of familial duties. According to Cowan Hoffman, (2007) the issue of work-life balance has in recent years, become a major global area of research. Marisalo (2008 concurs by stating that it is important for employers in this current fiscal climate to get the best work out their employees hence the necessity for employees and employers alike to learn the appropriate work life balance as this will yield positive outcomes for employers in the long run (in Gronewold and Wenzel, 2009) . My aim in wishing to conduct research in this area of work home life balance emanates from my personal experiences of home life conflict experienced during eight year period as a primary school teacher and children and families social worker in conjunction with views raised my former colleagues at the time. In addition, I am married to a currently practising secondary mathematics teacher who appears to work all hours of the day during the week, weekends and holidays. I realised that whilst there is a lot of available literature from many discussions and research already carried out over the years, most of the literature is generic and there is not adequate research literature addressing issues faced mainly by social workers and teachers. In addition, most of the research has been carried out by researchers who have not been physically involved in these fields and therefore at times there is a lack of trust as to what happens to the research material, regardless of being informed and assured that there is confidentiality and data protection applies. Most workers are not really able to air their views openly as most of the research has been in the form of face to face interviews which may bring about barriers when it comes to freely sharing personal information. It is therefore my hope that due to the topic being a little sensitive in times of the current economic climate, everyone wants to hold on to their jobs and therefore will probably not say anything to jeopardise that; especially for social workers who work with very sensitive and emotionally draining societal issues. I feel that I will be able to produce beneficial findings that correspond with how professionals from these careers really feel about the impact of work on their work-social life balance. In addition, this research will give me an opportunity to reflect on the effects my husbands and my own career has impacted our home lives. The outcome of the research will also be beneficial to former colleagues and hopefully future colleagues as I hope to get reliable feedback and recommendations made accessible to interested parties of how the impact of work home life balance, if any, can be overcome. I hope that the feedback will give insights into how others deal with any impact or conflict. It is also my view that results will not only be beneficial to the employees but to employers as well which will then help find ways to further support their employees to find a work life balance that hopefully leads to a happy workforce that produces exceptional outcomes. Research Question, Aims and Objectives Best, (2012) argues that the foundation of research as a whole emanates from having a good and understandable research question that will enable a researcher to find answers. According to McNeill and Chapman, (2005), there is a necessity for a researcher to set out a clear and concisely formulated research question as this will evidently show what the researchers intent is and whether there is a viable reason why the research is being undertaken. Therefore, the proposed research seeks to investigate and establish the effect of work family life conflict on social workers in comparison to teachers, both newly qualified and experienced with at least two or more years post qualification inorder to determine whether there is a difference in the experience due to the length of time one has worked. This question will help me respond to the following: (i) Since work home life balance has become an increasingly popular term, why is it that many employees still not sure how to go about achievi ng this; (ii) What are the reasons why most employees lack confidence to approach their employees or line managers to negotiate flexible working hours or take time in lieu. (iii) The consequences (if any) of asking for flexible working; and whether there is an impact to service provision if employees work from home, take time off, or work flexible working hours. It is common knowledge nowadays that social services and education are experiencing staff shortages, hence most employees would rather struggle and get on with their work rather than lose their jobs. The impact work is having on families is changing over time. Literature Review A literature review is defined by Fink, (1998:37) as a systematic, explicit and reproducible method for identifying evaluating and interpreting the existing body of work produced by researchers (in Best, 2012:40). Therefore it is important for a researcher to review literature that is already available as this gives a theoretical basis for the research and helps show that a researcher is knowledgeable in their field of research. In addition, it makes the researcher aware what knew knowledge they are adding to the existing pool of knowledge that is already available. White, (2009:7) states that research should not take place in a vacuum and therefore it is imperative for a researcher to know how their study fits into a broader picture, in terms of previous empirical work, theoretical ideas, and recent policy and practice, as research that is conducted without considering these contexts risks being repetitive, irrelevant or of little value. Therefore, empirical work that is already ava ilable becomes a valuable source of ideas and also guides the researcher on what is already available and known about the said topic. Bernhardt et al, (2003) state that the 21st century workplace has been confronted by various economic and staff turnover challenges. Dresser Hatton, (2003) concur by further suggesting that inorder to succeed against the encountered challenges, employers will need to find solutions that will be in the best interest of both employees and the employer. Lowe, (2007) indicates that most employees are experiencing imbalanced work home life issues and therefore suffer guilt of not properly caring for their families and lack of general social life. Lowe also states that in most families, both parents now have to work so as to make ends meet leaving no time for any family social life. On the hand, employers expectance of performance has gone up whilst workloads have increased over the years. School teachers are finding themselves with larger classes, no teaching assistants to support for the less able pupils (Reference) Social workers on the other hand are also face similar issues; low staf f turnovers due to Local Authorities failing to recruit more staff, staff absences due to ill health and high caseloads which can sometimes be extremely demanding and difficult (Voydanoff, 2005). Theoretical Frameworks Issues surrounding work life balance of social workers and teachers are worsened by staff shortages in both fields. Both professions are labour intensive areas where staff work long and at times unsocial hours which has an impact mainly on home life. Therefore, the theoretical framework has to look at the research questions inorder to understand the theory behind the problem. Sampling Strategy and Rationale Sampling by definition, is a method with which a researcher comes out with a particular or certain number out of a given larger group. Sampling enables the researcher to identify a small number of respondents who are almost likely sure to likely represent the larger group. In this case, the researcher will use convenience sampling so that the sample is a group of social workers who work or live within the researchers reach. Because the sample will be responding electronically, results from this group of sample is likely to produce truthful and reliable responses as it was their own choice to respond without any coercion (McNeill and Chapman, 2005). However, the sample still stands a chance of having flaws if respondents answer the questionnaires and surveys for the sake of it. Research Methodology and Methods Inorder to begin attempting to answer the proposed research question, it is paramount for the researcher to decide on the methodological approach and methods that will support her in fully responding to the question at hand (McNeill and Chapman, 2005). In order to efficiently and effectively source and collect relevant and useful data the use of qualitative and quantitative information gathering fact sheets will be used in the form of questionnaires and surveys. This will be done both manually by dropping off questionnaires in unaddressed envelopes and online surveys according to the respondents choice. Robson, (2011) states that the base of a qualitative research is upon the interpretation of a given social situation and then making sense of it. This study will use a qualitative approach in order to gather empirical evidence that allows respondents to elaborate on their feelings about their work home life. A Qualitative Research is said to be primarily exploratory research used to g ain an in-depth understanding of the respondents underlying reasons, opinions, and motivations in the responses they give (RCA, 2017)[2]. In addition, qualitative research provides an insight into the problem being researched. According to Hiles et al. (2013), qualitative study designs allow experiences to be described in full detail. Therefore, using qualitative research will enable both social workers and teachers alike to clearly respond to what impact work home balance is having or not having in their lives; including how and what they feel their employers and policy makers ought to change or support them with so as achieve and have the best of both worlds without comprising on their obligations at work and their social lives. Additionally, qualitative research helps in providing insights the problem so that ideas for potential quantitative research. With this said, a quantitative analysis will used to obtain figures can be quantified so that percentages of how employees feel ca n be analysed and also used to compare the degree of the impact faced by both professions. Therefore, a short survey will be included within the research to gather data which will be used for the quantitative analysis. The survey questionnaires will go hand in hand with the qualitative research questions hence this will be some sort of mixed methods research. For the qualitative data, questionnaires with at least five questions will be given. Ethical Issues Best, (2012) states that a good research is valid, reliable, and gives the reader an honest account of events or issues under investigation (2012:19). Therefore, it imperative that all research practice shows an awareness of ethical issues hence the necessity to follow the code of ethics. On the hand, Lynoe et al, (1999) suggests that any badly designed research is by definition unethical. Grant and Sugarman, (2004) state there is substantial misperceptions regarding the ethical appropriateness of using incentives in research with human subjects. However they further state that previous work on determining whether incentives are unethical as they may be considered as a form of undue influence or coercive offer upon respondents. They argue that the ethical issue of undue influence is understandable however, not coercion, instead this should be considered as corruption of judgment. However, this study will be done anonymously, by using an unnamed envelope and online questionnaire there fore there will be no coercion from researcher. The reasons for the research will be clearly explained to the respondents and any clarifications required will be done through the respondents choice of communication system. Data protection and confidentiality issues will also be clearly explained to the respondents so as to avoid any mistrust between the researcher and the researcher as this is paramount for the sake of this study. On the other hand, the researcher has been both a teacher and social worker and therefore the recommendations may emanate from personal feelings rather than from the general feeling of respondents and therefore report maybe biased. The researcher is aware that to do so will be unethical therefore will endeavour to remove the self from the study so as to understand the raised issues in their entirety. In addition, the researcher has worked with some of the respondents; therefore there is a chance that the researcher may be able to identify some of the respondents from the responses. However, the researcher will ensure that all responses from the research are kept confidential as by not doing so, the researcher will be breeching the Data Protection Act 1998 and the confidentiality that is a prerequisite for any research with human subject. RESEARCH LIMITATIONS The proposed study, like many other studies, has its own limitations. Due to sampling amongst my former colleagues, both in social care and in education, some may not feel comfortable responding to the questionnaires therefore I may end up with an insufficient number or respondents. Financial limitations also may be realised due to the study being self-funded. Essex is a massive County however, the researcher will only mange to work with offices that are convenient to her location which will leave only a few offices that may be accessible to the researcher if necessary. Since respondents are mainly professionals, the researcher hopes that there will be no need for any financial incentives however, if the responding quota is enough, as a thank you, the researcher may have to buy those respondents who do not mind about their anonymity drinks for having taken their limited time from their busy schedules to respond to the surveys. The major limitation of the study is that the study will be confined with a few offices and schools in Essex due limited resources and time constraints. Since there are chances that the research sample may not be large enough, the research will not be relevant to a large part of the UK[3], however, it satisfy the overall research objective. In conclusion, the researcher hopes that there will be enough respondents as the research responses will hopefully benefit a lot of people within the two chosen professions. The study will be presented in a well organised, structured formatting and appropriate language will be used throughout the report and respondents s opinions will be respected and none of the responses will be tampered with of which to do would be extremely unethical. Findings from respondents will be clearly shown within the study however as previously mentioned, these will be anonymised for confidentiality and data protection purposes. The ethics code of social science research will be adhered to inorder to ensure the validity of the study. Hopefully, at the end of this quest I will be slightly more enlightened as to who the true speaker may really be. There are some things that we do know about this poem. It is most often referred to as an elegy because of the mood of mourning and regret. Upon further reading I discovered that this poem is like others of its time period. Many parallels can be seen between The Wife’s Lament and The Wanderer. The Wanderer is a poem about a man that is exiled due to war and details his miserable life in the wintry wilderness. Another poem that resembles The Wife’s Lament is Wulf and Eadwacer. In both of these poems, the speaker is interpreted to be a woman unlike other poems of the time. Wulf and Eadwacer is about a woman who has been involved with two men, the dreaded love-triangle. When the woman was separated from her lover, Wulf, she is taken into the comforting arms of another man, Eadwacer. This causes her much happiness but also pain over the lost love of Wulf. Thus the lament of this woman is very similar to the speaker in The Wife’s Lament. The various interpretations of The Wife’s Lament may argue on who the speaker is, but there is one thing that can not be denied. Domestic Problems Many youth are confronted with Domestic problems ranging from hostility from parents, strife between their fathers and mothers, parents softness to provide the basic necessities of life. Youths from such homes run forward from home, get involved in all forms of crimes such as 419, armed robbery, thuggery, prostitution or hired assassions.Parents should wake up to th eir responsibilities and make sustainable plans for their children. 6. INDECENT DRESSING AMONG YOUTHS We have been wonderfully made by God. Praise the Lord Let us trace our dressing to the Garden of Eden. When Adam and even sinned against God, they realized that they are naked. They sewed fig leaves unneurotic to make themselves aprons (Gen37). This covered only a part of their bodies. This is fact was not proper clothing and so the Lord God made for Adam and his wife garments of skins and clothed them. This implies that the lord God covered their nakedness. in that respectfore, any clothing that does not cover the remains fully is an indecent cloth. Let us also consider the demoniac in St. Lukes gospel Chapter 8 26-35). The demon possessed man was naked. Unholy attitudes or worldliness has become the culture of the church. Some church members tell you what you wear does not matte, after all religion is in the heart.However, they allow that there is a link between the state of mans heart and the outward appearance. In fact, ones outlook is greatly influenced by the conditio n of the heart. It is not uncommon today to celebrate different kinds of immodest and indecent dressed wasted by the majority of young people and some older people in the society, even in the church of God. These ladies wear transparent and ashes hugged clothes under the guise of fashion and civilization. In fact, you see girls of cheap and easy virtue wearing incitive or seductive apparels that partially expose elegant reas of their bodies such as breast, navels, abdomen and thighs, such youth are not left out in their heavy make-ups. Their make-ups are so excessive and contortionate that the girls are not less than masquerades and cannot but be mistaken for prostitutes. Why would a Christain woman or lady imitate Jezbel? When Jehu came to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it and she painted her eyes, and change her head and looked out of the window 2King930. Some ladies dress in such way that they stimulate prurient desires in men. The harlot dresses shamefully only to advertise, comete and take in the opposite sex.They wear revealing clothes which constitute in men some immoral desires. Mini-skirts are symbolic of those ladies who want to seduce men. Every mini-skirt is a fuel that sets the mind of a man to speak out the most de found thoughts. On the other hand, ladies who are seductively dressed are to a greater extent potential to be harassed by men. In the veridical sense, a lady who is immodestly dressed is plainly adverstising herself, telling the male folk that she is available. No wonder, today that the rate at which women are raped is super alarming. The men folk are not left out of this craze for fashion.They fry their hair (jerry curls or perm0, weave their hair, wear earring, leave their shirits unbuttoned, exposing their beareded chest, have funny story styles of hair cut, assume make up adept to prove themselves as senior guys. 7. Sexual criminality/ adultery Many youths do not see sextual immorality/formation as sin. They see it as a way of expressing their love to a person of the opposite sex. In popular advert which says if you love me prove it by making love to me Fornication is the sexual relationship between unmarried persons.God condemns fornication Do you not know that your body is a temple of he Holy spirit, who is in you whom you have received from god? You are not your own, you were received with a price. Therefore, honour god with your body (1cor 619-20) Anyone who destroy the temple of the Holy spirit which you are will face wrath of God. The bible says you are Gods temple, anyone who defiles that temple, God will destroy. Some youth who engage in fornication (pre-marital sex) tell you they are in search of happiness, pre-marital sex has brought shame, disgrace and to many, unfulfilled destiny and previous(p) death.According to Ibid Pre-marital sex has many adverse effects surrounding it. By so doing expose themselves to many risks such as pregnancy, abortion, death, death, veneral disease, fear, shame, disrespect, sterility, uncompleted career are grievous sins against God, your creator. These are what we risk ourselves for, Just a mere pleasure which does not last. Similarly, punch newspaper publisher had on one of its publication pointed out that pregnancy is just one of the ways one can reap on unpleasant harvest from fornication It is better to avoid pre-marital sex. 8. Wild opposition Youths, no doubt are very ambitious. macrocosm ambitious itself should be commended. But when the ambition becomes obnoxious, handle signals are elayed. It is not uncommon today to baring youhs engage in all manner of immoral activities that are opposed to Christain virtues in a bid to acquire great wealth, fame and success. They are usually recruited as political thugs, fake drug peddlers, armed robbers, guarantor takers, murderers, assassins while others become cultists, prostitutes and so on. Some become involved in dubious and undefiled business. The bible tells us to flee fro m all appearance of evil. whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God.Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are good report if there be any virtue and if there be any paise, think on these thing (1 Cor1031. Phil 48) Do not get involved in any activity that is unconnected to the tenents of God. Anything contrary leads to hellfire. 9. Peer aggroup Influence Many Youth have been led astray by those they regard as friends. The influences of peers can bring about a positive or a negative change in ones life. The musical instrument sound than the wordings as obtained in worldly music. Such songs do not give any inspiration, and it lacks modesty and moderation. So also is the obscene trip the light fantastic toe that accompanies the music.Flee from such music and from every apprearance of evil. 11. UNEMPLOYMENT T here is a high rate of employment in this country. Many youths who had managed to go through thick and thin to obtain a university degree or other degrees are out there on the streets roaming about in search of anything to do for living. His has been the concern of both youths and their parents. Many parents have lost inetrest in commit into education of their children. This has increased the number of youths without any ball education or vovational training.One sees them in high dense areas/cities milling around motor parks, marj=ket places, in hide outs, practically doing nothing meaningful. Their daily existence depend on how much they can steal, extort from people or just waste away. Some engage in menial jobs that can only take care of them, while others become preys in the hand of evil men who take advantage of them by providing debase jpbs such as drug trafficking, prostitution. The self employed are faced with problems of generating power for tjose whose jobs require elec tricity. The question is, for how long then can we watch the leaders of tomorrow waste away.We all must rise up to this challenge and urge corruption, injustice that have premeated into the whims and caprices of this nation. 12. Marriage Many youths today are faced with the problem of getting a wife or a husband. This could be attributed to a number of factors such as parental influence or control, self, sin and the devil. Youths becomes so obsessed with their inability to be married that they now abadom God. To every man there is a wife and to every woman there is a man. Therefore wait on the Lord, and He will provide. THE WAY FORWARDIn handling the problem of our youth and the difficulties confronting them in this reprobate generation, parents, churches, society and the youth themselves have specific roles they must perform to bring sanity to our world. Let us reflet on the role of the youth themselves. The youth who desires life and the fruits of happy life must desire God and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Seek first the kingdom of God and all its righteous and all other things will be added unto you (Matt. 633). To the youth who had turn away from the Lord, I say come back with a penitent heart and the Lord will receive and have you back as his own.Repentance involves a) Admitting your weakness, being sombre for your weakness b) Renouncing your weakness The Lord tell us in Issaiah, come now let us reason together, says the Lord through your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. though they are red like crimson, they shall become loke sheepskin (Is. 118) Go for sacramental reconciliation. Having regained your relationship with God, He wants you to live a spotless life even in this era of godlessness. You are to stay incorrupt and unperturbed in the constantly changing world where you dwell.The unchanging God will substain you, for he has tell. For I am the Lord, I change not (Malachi 36). This implies that Gods children h ave no still to allow themselves to be swayed by the rapidly changing world around them. What is expected of the youth therefore according to the word of God is outlined as follows 1. The youth must treasure the unaltered word of God in his heart, life and mouth, civilization or no civilization. 2. He must constantly and diligently with prayer guard his soul so that he is not overtaken bythe whirlwind of globalization and modernization. . Must be headstrong to live a holy life. This involves daring to be different with a resolution not to look back. 4. Depend on the grace of God. Paul tells the Ephesians, for it is by Grace you have been saved through religion and this is not from your selves, it is a gift of God (Eph 28) In the sane vein, Jesus tells us in Jn1516 not to rely on our own strength but yo abide on the Vine 5. take up the Holy spirit, the sanctifying power of God into your life. It is the spirit that gives life. In all thid fullness, live in the spirit.So I say, liv e by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires swhich is contrary to the spirit and the spirit which is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that do not do what you want (Gal516-17) 6. Associate with thos who love and fear God. Meditate on the passage Do not be yoked together with unworshipers. For what do accountability and wickness have in common? Or what crime syndicate can light have with darkness? What unity is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?What balance is there between the temple of God and Idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said I will live with them and walk amongthem, and I will be their God, and they will be my people 7. Plunge into unlimited opportunities The Lord urges us to dump ourselves into unlimited opportunities that he has set us. Like Joshua, He was to be strong, courageous and to obser ve the word of God. Joshua did as God commanded and he prospered. Today God is verbalise to us that he has given us great opportunities to succeed in life and have all our needs met.However, many go through life dejected, defeated, defrauded, dominated and at the end doomed. you are a child of God. For success to come your way, start now. Do not be idle. You can still go back to school and get education you can re-write your papers and improve on them. Are you unemployed, apply to place no matter how little, or you can create a job yourself. You need not suffer, the sky is the limit. Finally, do not stay away from sacraments (Eucharist and the Sacrament of Reconciliation). Heaven is real. What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and suffer the expiration of soul.
